Outdoor Worship: What to Expect
Starting June 6, 2021, we will be worshiping outside on the lawn at 5pm on Sundays.
If the weather is inclement, we will be moving online to a live Zoom service – so watch your email and social media! You can sign up for email notifications here, and like our Facebook and Instagram pages to stay up to date.
Please bring your own chair or picnic blanket.
Parking is available on S. Forest and on Olivia.
Masking and distancing will be observed.
Although most, if not all, of our community’s eligible adults and children are fully vaccinated, we will continue to mask and distance to ensure the safety of our youngest children and of people whose immune systems might not have had a robust immune response to the Covid vaccine.
Communion will be offered in both kinds (both bread and wine).
If you are with us for the first time, be assured that we recognize that Communion is God’s gift of grace, not ours, and you are welcome to receive it. Wafers will be offered from sanitized hands, and wine will be poured into individual, sanitized cups. You are also welcome to bring your own Communion elements if you wish.
Because of Covid, we will still not be providing dinner afterward, but you are encouraged to bring your own snacks for a social time afterwards.
We are really looking forward to being back together after such a long time away, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
