WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE DO

Lord of Light - Lutheran Campus Ministry is part of the LuMin Network in the ELCA and an inclusive, intergenerational worshiping community serving campus and city. Deeply rooted in a tradition of social justice, we are committed to showing God's love to all people. We are openly and intentionally welcoming and affirming of everyone as beloved creations of God: Of any gender identity, ethnicity, denomination, faith, or sexual orientation. Please visit the ELCA's Reconciling in Christ (RIC) page to read more about our commitment to honoring the diversity of God's creation. For an in-depth look at our 100-year history, click here.

In our dual role as campus ministry and congregation, we gather undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and local community members together for worship, fellowship, and service activities.

We meet on Sundays at 5pm for worship followed by dinner, and there are other activities throughout the week. Check our calendar for more information. Feel free to stop by Vida, our student common space, for a cup of coffee and a snack; Pastor Elizabeth is often around for a chat - but if she's not there, just ask for an appointment!
