Rev. Elizabeth Friedman | Pastor
Pastor Elizabeth (she/her) has been the pastor at Lord of Light since 2017. She is committed to social justice and creating an environment rooted in enthusiastic and authentic hospitality. She's also a violinist and a violin teacher, speaks fluent Spanish, and she has lived in Costa Rica and the UK. Her spouse, Matt, is the director of the paleontology museum at U of M, and they've got two energetic, inquisitive kids, a tuxedo cat who high-fives, and a tabby who fetches hair ties. Pastor Elizabeth loves to cook, knit, and go for early-morning (slow) runs.
Maya Corbin | Student Leader
Maya (she/her) is a junior in Biology, Health, and Society. She loves music and is a violinist and a violin teacher. She loves connecting with other people, and she hopes to make new students feel as welcomed as she did when she first arrived!
Leah Armstrong | Student Leader
Leah (she/her) and is a junior in the Residential College, in the Program in the Environment and Political Science. Leah says: "LCM has provided me with a diverse, welcoming community that has allowed me to explore, question, and grow my faith, and I'm looking forward to organizing events to make that environment possible for others, too."
Jack Doyle | Student Leader
Jack (he/him) is a sophomore in the Residential College studying Sociology and Spanish. At LCM, Jack has found a community that is genuine and firmly rooted in Jesus's love. Jack loves to crochet and sing a capella, and he's looking forward to connecting with new and returning students this year!
Helena Jolliffe | Student Leader
Helena (she/her) is a junior in civil and nuclear engineering. Helena is a runner, an artist, and a cellist, and she absolutely loves to read - especially science fiction, fantasy, and non-fiction adventure. Helena has found a really welcoming community here at LCM and loves its emphasis on music.
Noah Carlson | Student Leader
Noah (he/him) is a sophomore in Mathematics, minoring in Linguistics. Noah has always had an interest in the difference between how we perceive God in our own lives and how God is portrayed in scripture, and the interplay between faith and science. Noah is looking forward to more conversations and community building this year!
Abby Ludwick | Student Leader
Abby (she/her) is a sophomore in the Residential College, studying Psychology with a minor in Law, Justice, and Social Change. At LCM, Abby has found a community able to discuss faith with an open perspective, and she's looking forward to cultivating that same welcoming environment with others.
Jamie Miller | Building & Operations Manager
Jamie is our staff member who keeps everything running smoothly at LOL/LCM. She's the voice on the phone when you call. If you have questions about potentially renting one of our apartments or other spaces, contact Jamie.

Logan holds his Bachelor of Music from Baldwin-Wallace and his Master's Degree in Early Music from the University of Michgian.
